I was in your shoes five years ago. Best player on the team. Working out every day: Lifting, sprints, agility.Eat, sleep, breathe, football. I believed the lie: "If You're Good Enough, They'll Find You." As if D1 coaches are magical fairies that fly around and place a scholarship offer under your pillow at night. I started my junior year with 11 touchdowns on 18 touches. In just two games. How much better did I have to be to get noticed?
I had to take my future into my own hands. No more waiting, just doing. I started scouring the internet for coaches' contact info. I discovered a foolproof way to find their email addresses (see the video above) - but it took MONTHS to make any progress. Only then did I start to see interest... and from that point on the visits and offers starting pouring in. This led me to realize the sad truth about the recruiting process...
It doesn't matter how good you are on the field. You've probably seen other kids posting on Twitter their graphics, visits, and offers, and you wonder "HOW?" You know you're better than them. They're doing one thing that you aren't.
